Ekadashah Shraddha is one of the most critical and elaborate rites in the Hindu funeral sequence, performed exactly on the 11th day following a person's passing. It marks the end of the strict mourning period (Ashauch) and the crucial moment when the departed soul sheds its subtle, earthly ghost-body (Pret) to formally enter the realm of the ancestors (Pitru Loka). एकादशाह श्राद्ध मृत्यु के ठीक 11वें दिन किया जाने वाला सबसे महत्वपूर्ण और अनिवार्य कर्मकांड है। इसी दिन सूतक (अशौच) समाप्त होता है और दिवंगत आत्मा प्रेत योनि को छोड़कर विधिवत पितृलोक में प्रवेश करती है। पिशाच मोचन कुंड पर विद्वान ब्राह्मणों द्वारा कराए जाने वाले इस 7 घंटे के विस्तृत अनुष्ठान से आत्मा को उसके आगे के सफर के लिए आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा मिलती है और परिवार को शोक से उबरने की शांति प्राप्त होती है।
